well as special events on the ski slopes.
Opening Ceremony
23rd December 2006
The opening event of the 2006/2007 season. Nabe
and sake
service will be served. The Yamabiko gelende will be open
from 10am.
Find Santa! Christmas in Nozawa Onsen
23rd - 25th December 2006
The first 100 people each day to find Santa on the slopes
between the 23rd and 25th December (10am-3pm) will be lucky
enough to receive a present from him. On the 24th (2pm)
Higake gelende bingo taikai and other presents.
Happy New Year in Nozawa Onsen
31st Dec - 1st January 2007
Nighta on the 31st December will be open until 12:30am, so
you can enjoy skiing or snowboarding into the new year.
Events on the 1st Uenotaira gelende from 11am.

Yuki Daruma (Snowman) Matsuri
6th - 9th February 2007
Snowmen will
appear all over the village and on the slopes for the Snowman
Festival. See if you can spot them all.
Valentines Day in Nozawa Onsen
