 Celebrating a century since opening the Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort, the Nozawa Onsen Ski School proudly continues to spread the joy of skiing to those new to the sport as well as helping old hands develop their techniques. SKI & SNOWBOARD LESSONS

Choose from a variety of packages to suit your budget and needs. Our general ski and snowboard lessons will help you to learn to ski or to fine tune your techniques. These lessons are run daily with one-day and half-day (morning/afternoon) sessions. Depending on your experience, our qualified instructors will be able to teach you the basics or help you improve your techniques. For more information, please come to the front desk during reception hours. Due to popular demand and limited instructor availability, we are only able to book one day in advanced between 3pm and 5pm or between 8:30am and 9:45am on the morning of the lesson. Children must be at least 12 years of age for ski lessons or 10 years of age for snowboarding lesson. We also recommened a helmet for safety purposes.

*Please note that lift passes may be required for these lessons and that the lessons are only available in Japanese.

Lift pass & lesson package

Get a discount on a one-day lift pass when you purchase with a lesson! Normally priced at ¥4,600, we can include a lift pass in the lesson for a total of ¥7,500 (¥4,000 lesson and a ¥3,500 lift pass).

Enrolments

The school is open for enrolments between 8:30am and 9:45am on the day of the lesson. Afternoon sessions are open for enrolment between 12:30pm and 12:45pm. 

 

 

KIDS & JUNIOR SKI TEAMS

For children of ages from 3 up to 9 years, we offer lessons tailored around te different age grops and the different levels of ski experience. Offering a diverse range of courses from learning to use your skis and poles to more advanced lessons, there’s something for every child out there!
